  It was the old Dover Town Mill in Townwall Street, damaged during the war and in this photo presumably about to be demolished.
  A distinctive building.

  Interesting photo there Kath - so prominent on so many views I have but never really thought about it before !! Presumably it is very close to the Lord Nelson

  Paul - yes, your picture does show what appears to be the old town mill from the 'other' side, ie.looking Eastwards. It has a distinctive curved roof.

  The ones with the Windows is near a couple of Forumite houses, on the right hand side of London Road near the old MHK Bathroom building.
