When Mr. Dunster had it I think it was called the Avenue. Paul Barrett, bought it with his Fathers' help and changed the name to the Arlington.
It then became a restaurant and now is a bistro. Incidentally it was the smallest pub in Kent.

all becomes clear now.
i remember it being the smallest pub in kent never knew it was called the avenue.
they seem to be doing very well now.

It was called The Arlington! I remember the Bishon Frise that used to lay outside for years then one day it was rumoured it ran across the road and was killed

Yes both the pubs above was my local ,the landlady of the New Mogal was great no tills only a old wooden box and the barrell of beer was on the counter, Run it on her own for years.
