Still lots to be decided I guess.
Overall the plans look more reasonable than the first draft we saw, but i still don't like the box apartments at all, but that is probably more about the details planning than the project as a whole
It should also be long term with regards the heritage and not to it's detriment, but it *should* all be able to work together...
Been nice knowing you :)

The developers are banging the old jobs drum.
They say it will bring jobs for the locals, but like all these projects,
The construction workers employed on the build will be cheep Eastern Europeans.
And the jobs that follow later especially in the hotel will be non British
Reject the proposal the locals can keep the countryside and the wildlife

What countryside?
Most of these proposals are brown field & give access to the countryside and local historical sites which clearly are not countryside.

Welcome Keith, put on your tin hat now because so many of us are just sick and tired of investors being turned away because people don't like the plans.

Just so people know WHPS have offered to show the displays from the developer next saturday for the event at the Grand Shaft
We are independent from the developer but we welcome any feedback good or bad so it will be another opportunity to see the plans and let them know your thoughts.
Been nice knowing you :)

Please note that today is the last day comments can be submitted to China Gateway International about the proposed Western Heights and Farthingloe developments.
So if you'd like to make your voice heard to raise concerns, approve, reject or just to make general observations, you only have a few hours left:
