I dont know this shop or the owners but £250 doesnt sound bad, theres plenty out there that would give much much less. Its easy to forget but the shop has to go again on it,if they cant make a profit then theres no point having a shop, they,rd be no point in doing any sort of business if there was no profit, and remember they have to put up with all the hassle if something doesnt work properly.I,m not saying whos right or wrong but it doesnt sound a bad deal to me.I was once in the second hand trade, furniture etc,and believe me it aint all sunshine n roses.

I now understand why this thread was resurrected.
Just about 6 months ago I bought a very high spec second hand computer for about £60 so I would guess £250 was very generous.

I have every sympathy for Carl Gilbert here. It's hard enough to start and run a business these days without having this sort of thing happen.
KS is well known on this forum for posting some self opinionated views to try to seem important which is why a lot of us were pleased when he decided to leave our forum. The "atmosphere" on here has been a lot nicer since he went.
I can see why Carl is angry, who wouldn't be to discover lies about them on the internet for all to read. He has been totally open and honest on here and I wish him well and hope he continues to have a thriving business. Good luck Carl

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

I am with you 100% here Carl. But googling your shop came up with interesting stuff, like
this obviously unconnected outfit, which makes me wonder whether you chose the right name for the business. This will do you far more harm than an outburst from Keith. I wonder if Keith's employers know about this thread, he is after all (allegedly) a PCSO.
