They were paid a (unannounced) visit quite recently, but didn't gain entry to all of the premises; they have advised that some work needs to be done and will be making a further visit (this will have to be by appointment) so they can make it look good (ish) even if only for that one visit.

I do not know what building you are referring to, Amsterdam House is cream, and looks an utter disgrace, with over flowing bins, and when some windows open half are hanging out, the red building next door used to be Pickfords, then Weru that is quite a tidy building

amsterdam house was binless for one day last week, took everyone by surprise.
belgrave house has been ok for 3 or 4 days now, the flats on the old weru site have bad days(i believe roger took them to task over it) and the old dover hotel gets steadily worse.

The old WERU site has a number of apartments that are given over to supporting "vulnerable" young people; it's managed by a company called Amicus Horizon, but when you look on their website, it doesn't mention Dover at all.
The rubbish problem there a couple of weeks or so ago, was because their bins hadn't been emptied for about 3 weeks and not only were the bins overflowing, but the whole car-park was covered with waste that either gulls of urban foxes had ripped open and strewen all over the place.
