It will be interesting to hear how the meetings go as UKIP seemed to have generated a following recently which was unheard of years ago.
There seems a lot of boot licking going on too from various posts that I have read. but nevertheless, let's hope that the meetings are constructive and produce some benefit for the town.

Do nothing and nothing happens.

interesting that so many business people took time out to see what nigel farage had to say.
i think that is alan shirley in conversation with mr little
simon finlay editor in chief of the dover express and folkestone herald.
no local happening would be complete without neil wiggins.

possibly but the big talking point was where nigel farage is planning to stand in 2015 and he said that he would not decide until after the european elections next year.

hard to envisage david as a candidate of a political party, his distaste of party politics has been made clear.

I was invited to attend, but at the last minute (Friday morning) I had to go to QEQM, so couldn't go. I'm sure it would have been interesting. No, I am not thinking of crossing the floor at DDC.

The thing you might like to think about where were all the person above ?when we needed them some years ago.I put it to you all they have done is jumped on the band wagon when they see how UKIP done in the last county elections and they now see themself as geting on more councils as cllrs etc and even maybe one of them winning at the next Gen/Election, by the time the next election comes round most of them will have left the ship after they have seen like we did over the pass how bad the party is run at HQ even their own leader said in the Sun news paper last week,"The publc will not be seeing me so much now because I have to stop going around and stay and sort out what is happing with the backroom staff, he should have done that years go you cannot have a Hq run by just two members of staff in Cornwall. The party was not ready for what happen when the voter turned to them at the last county election and that is now showing up even their own top members are going back to the partys they were in before going over to UKIP.

Howard, Very good to see you and I enjoyed our chat..We must have a coffee sometime...
Roger, Very sorry that we did not meet on Friday..
Reg and Keith S, still one Liners? You must improve your vocabulary..
Mr Matcham, I did enjoy the article in the Dover Express this week..It looks like a nice bunker..
UKIP H.Q. is in Devon not Cornwall..Every Valid UKIP member knows this..In answer to the first line of your post..Look in the mirror or this weeks Dover Express.....

Vic and Reg, sorry, both wrong. Peter kindly invited me to attend and hear what Mr Farage had to say and, in the same way as when/if I am invited when a Labour party bigwig is town or when/if I am invited when a Conservative bigwig is in town, I accepted the invite. Whoever wins next time, those of us who want to DO real stuff and deliver for Dover will have to work with them, so it is vital that we know and are on good terms with all of them (political party leaders and candidates).

....and if a bigwig of BNP came to ton?.................
UKIP being only a `one policy` Party only requires one liners........

Ukip is giving the voters an alternative, to the 3 failed war parties,
And there continued EU open door expansion plans.
Nigel Farage Is south east MEP,
Having meetings in His area is not surprising ,Especially as the party's contributory membership gets bigger, in the Dover and Deal area.
If you whish to join ukip dove branch. And help us to get rid of the balls up parties that have been responsible for the decline of the Dover district over the years,
Come join us.
