don't get me started on bins mark, i still have two monsters blocking my path.
i was told that after i put in my request for removal i would have to wait 8 weeks for an inspector to reassess.
i fell for it then find that others get theirs taken away after 3 weeks.
they steadfastly refuse to reply to my e mails even though i get acknowledgements that they have recieved them.
Aww its nice they are still feeding the local wildlife

For the last 3 weeks my green waste has been outside of my house,no collection, then I was told by a bin man, they dont start collecting green waste until after the 9th of Jan because they are picking up other waste.Still no green waste today though.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

Two lorries came today. One took the paper, the second took the bottles (it was a good Christmas) and cans.
Neither picked up the food waste.
If I had a thousand quid it would be worth it to dump it outside DDC.

no better round the back of the town hall today, more bags have been put out just to add to the problem.
then we have this at the back of barclays bank viewable by all who use the library.
as we can see it is now a family event.

i believe that roger reported it after i posted pics a couple of weeks back, though it is not his ward.
the problem is to stop the residents throwing things out of the top floor window rather than just cleaning up the mess.

I've sent a follow-up email Howard, asking them to "please" collect your wheelie bins.

Just a thought - these are private contractors, not the council's.

this is what confuses me, why are private contractors employed to remove the rubbish from problem houses?
we have the old "dover hotel" the guest house on the corner of folkestone and malvern road and others that seem to attract neanderthal residents.

I've now sent an email to the Director of Waste Services asking for both the Town Hall rubbish and that behind Barclays, be cleared.

Because nowadays Howard, the council's direct labour force wear suits and ties and would not dream of getting their hands dirty.
