The 62 bus is being diverted to Market Square shortly with 3 buses per hour during the day time, the 68 Maxton/Temple Ewell is hourly during the day time Monday to Saturday. Surprised that there is no seating yet in St James, maybe they are waiting until more units are filled.
Timed the walk this morning from M & S to Market Square bus stop - 3 minutes.

Just the one bag Sue but it did contain a 4 pint container of milk with other groceries. Noticed that car park was very nearly full, that will change when they start charging.

That long walk from Pencester would probably take me a good 10 minutes with stops on the way and would mean a taxi home, guess who will not be using the new food M&S.

Why would anyone with mobility difficulties want to walk from Pencester Road to St James when there is a perfectly adequate service running close by at the junction of Maison Dieu Road and Taswell Street?

Is there a seat at that stop or would those with problems have to stand and wait for goodness knows how long.

Fairly desolate in Biggin Street this morning now that M & S along with Superdrug have relocated to St James with very little footfall for the shops remaining.

From the DDC planning pages, good to see a developer not putting in shoe boxes for people.

The car park to the side of the empty M & S building has been sealed off as it is now a construction site, will be interesting to see what comes of it.
