Once upon a time a 'Crabble Declaration' would have seen Gary Sobers ordering his Notts batsmen off the field having set Kent an unreachable target. Now it's local tourist reps signing 'a commitment to working with others to cultivate a dynamic future for tourism across the district.' A banal statement maybe, but not a declaration, surely. That's not cricket.
