I thought she was ok. One of the linesmen didn't seem to have much idea though.

I bet WBA wished she had reffed their game after this horrendous penalty robbed them of a win

Having watched the game,
, to be fair Dover were lucky not to go in at least 3-0 down at half time
only poor finishing by Corby saved Dover.
Certainly the second half saw a more evenly matched game
end to end.
The first goal came from what looked like a foul on the corby player, the ref didnt agree and Dover broke away to score
this caused eruptions of cheering in the stands where Dover were celebrating, what followed was something i havnt witnessed at dover football games home or away.
Supporters of Corby who were in the same stand started to rush the dover supporters and to fight them.
A small number of dover supporters reacted and a battle took place, bottles and other items being thrown.
the second half off the pitch became very tense with both supporters goading each other, but having seen the situation calm i have to say i was ashamed to see a mature dover supporter(late 50's/60s) run with a dover flag in front of the corby fans to goad them, a stupid move.
Dover did score again and the play was end to end, and dover did look good to hold on to the win.
that it until the ref indicated 3 minutes of injury time, soon after that corby scored making it 2-1
and in the dyeing seconds could have equalised.
Final score
CORBY 1 DOVER 2
Dover should feel happy they are in the hat in maybe circumstances that they were fortunate, but sometimes you ride your luck, and today earnt Dover £18,000.
As for the referee, i feel the ref did no better or worse than other officials iv seen at crabble, i feel she missed a few challenges that might have taken the heat out of the game, or maybe a few bookings, but like i say no worse or better than other officials iv seen at dover games.
I will watch the corby web site over how they feel it went and there take on the violence
it appears no one doubted the whole thing stated by corby fans surging towards the dover fans and a small minority fighting.
there were police at the ground at the end and a helicopter.
we should be thankful though Dover is in the hat for the next round

Keith I was placed very near to the trouble but not that near to be involved, after the second goal their fans started to throw coins, drinks and cans at the Dover fans some who were trying to get back from the surge forward after that second goal. It did get a bit ugly but soon died down when the police turned up.
I have to say it had trouble written all over it right from the start when they let both sets of young fans stand next to each other in the same stand with no proper stewards other than a couple of elderly ones keeping them apart and as usual drink the demon that turns it ugly. However it should not spoil the over all day and game where the vast majority of supporters enjoyed a reasonably good game.
I would not bother with what is said on their Forum or ours for that matter, it was around 20 fans mostly young with too much drink in them and each will blame the other like the morons they are.
I can not agree with you Keith that they could have gone in three up at half time, yes they were slightly the better side in the first half but certainly not by three goals and in the second half we started to pass the ball far better and out played them in most quarters. Once the first goal went in the result was never in question and their goal almost in injury time was nothing more than a consolation goal.
They had the first half but we certainly took the second half to them, as for the referee I thought she had a good game overall letting the game flow and I have certainly seen a few of her male colleagues give far worse performances as an official.
So on to the next round after a win which in the end we deserved and lets hope for a home draw.

Harry
Your probably correct on the issue of drink and the connection of the crowd issues.
I still feel Dover had a poor first half performance, and could and maybe should have gone in behind.
Without doubt as i said the second half Dover did up there game which resulted in the 2 goals.
Corby to in both halfs could, with better finishing have been ahead.
your correct harry on the view of having both set of fans in the same stand
but all in all DOVER in the hat is the great thing
what time is the draw?
