Thank you Phil , I just love this interview , I have heard Darcus on a few interviews , he seems to employ the tactic of putting out an inflamatory statement and then shouting down any questions , often getting quite unpleasnat in the tone and words he uses to those oposing him , but he more than met his match here .

I'll leave the Joan Rivers link for later. I am bound to need a lift later in the day.
Mark, if only he had replied to (hit the) fan mail. Making the points one would wish to get across in the TV interview format can be tricky for anybody. Listening to the trained politician speak we can see/hear what little depth is possible. Then again TV-time is there to be filled more than anything else.
The attitude adopted by those in the studio is also often unhelpful. As the original clip showed.
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

Yes, Mark you are missing quite a lot. Sarah summed it up well.
Meanwhile the point of my post was that a man who goes around throwing out terrible accusations like the "Mark of the Beast" quite visibly has the beast in him. Obviously went over your head.

Andrew
are you seriously suggesting that this man be pilloried for using that phrase? In the context of the article it was a very small piece and not worth this over reaction.
I assumed, because of the outpouring of revulsion and hatred on here, that he ate babies or something similar.
Unless there is more this is a non-story.

Er, how come I find myself being asked to explain myself? Are you deliberately distorting my words Mark, or wilfully failing to understand my point, or what? If you don't get it, sorry but that's not my problem.
I think I have already given the answer above i.e. that this man who throws out such damning accusations on national TV has no room to talk.
People like me who have a heart for Dover seem to keep getting sniped and laughed at by people who should be on the same side. Makes you just want not to bother and it reminds me why I rarely post on here any more.

Having watched this guy in action I would happily nominate him for the Racist of the Year award. Accusing all and (White) sundry of being racist is the worst kind of racism.

i saw the original broadcast and was shocked that they allowed him just to rant on like that, the interviewer was totally inept.

We are clearly watching different things. The BBC ended up apologising to Mr Howe for alleging he was involved in rioting.
I fail to see anything wrong in what he said. What am I missing?

Mark - you have already been given the required information. No one else seems to have a problem getting it.
