heard earlier the town is run by a shadowy organisation known as the "snargate street mob", hopefully someone can fill me in on the details of these evil people.

Many years ago I decided not to join -
-any trade union
-any political party
- any Masonic lodge.
Nothing will make me change my mind.

Well Peter (#10) I have been a member of a Trade Union (believe it or not, back in the early 70's) and, of course, been a member of a political party for 40 years.
Masonry has never appealed to me, though I have had invites - one of which was particularly interesting but for gastronomic reasons only!!!
But I have never taken them up.
In business and in politics I have never found any problems with masons despite all the innuendo about them. Overstated and perhaps used as an excuse by some who are less than successful in business or politics for their lack of advancement.
