Huge queues at the pumps up at Tesco last night. People panicking that the price would go up. We panicked along with the rest of them.
Petrol was 129.9 a litre
Along the town to the big garage at the base of the A20 hill where I picked up the local newspapers..
petrol was 130.9 a litre
forget the exact price of diesel but it was 2p per litre more than the Tesco garage...but interestingly...no queue.
Could that small price differential make a difference or is it just when people see other people panicking they panic likewise.
