Not long to wait Howard, yes the secret has been kept which is a surprise, if they perform like they did last time they certainly deserve to win. I was going to watch The Whale but will record that and watch the Choir instead simply because curiosity has got the better of me.

A-MA-ZING performance by P&O Ferries - winners of BBC2 The Choir and truly the Pride of Dover!

They had me worried at the start but the actual performance in my opinion was way better than the other two, a huge well done to them.

Two of my friends are in that choir. Very proud of them and all else Involved. Fantastic result! Brilliant effort from all.

Just spare a thought for those P&O crew members who may be at sea tonight - shipping forecast giving Hurricane Force 12 in the Channel.

The crew and passengers have my sympathy it will certainly be stomach churning out there, I wonder if they will be stuck just off Deal.
Did anyone see the local BBC news this evening because the choir performed a carol from Dover Town Hall right at the end of the programme.

The port is now closed as 75mph winds continue to batter Dover. Ferries sheltering in the Downs and, in some cases, off the French coast. The AIDAsol cruise ship is passing Dover now - a very rough start to their Christmas cruise.

I would imagine that was one of the worst nights on the Channel for a long time! Port is now re-open. Spirit of Britain, Pride of Canterbury, Delft Seaways, and Dunkerque Seaways all spent the night at sea. A very uncomfortable experience for both passengers and crew.

For a group of workers that were not singers they done very well.
As you know I was in a choir for some years.
How many times do you hear some one say I cannot sing but most of us can it just needs to be trained it helps but no real need to read music .
