Dover looking its best bathed in sunshine. I know the weather hasn't been too great recently, but Kent often is the best place for sunshine in the UK.

I saw some of the last interesting series and agree completely with the last three posts an excellent programme well worth watching even if you are not into choirs. I wish the P & O choir well in the competition.

Excellent programme that had a real 'feel good' factor for Dover. The P&O choir were great and the filming showed Dover at its best. Was a bit surprised that some P&O staff had not been into Calais - perhaps it should be part of the company induction?

erm kevin turnaround is a frantic time on the ferries with hoovering, polishing, washing and drying up with those on deck seven.
the rest of the crew are doing essential maintenance and safety tasks.
by the time they have completed their weekly/fortnightly shifts they are much more interested in getting themselves outside of an eight pack stella.

Having worked for a ferry company I appreciate the challenge of a fast turnaround - there's no money to be made in port! The point I was making was that as part of their induction to the company a visit to Calais would be beneficial.

BTW...
You may wish to invite friend down to Dover to enjoy the district in all its splendour...
Ramada deals...
Current Ramada Deals:
Ramada £20 UK rooms (incl Xmas & NY)50,000 rooms across 20 mid-range hotels (can cost £150)

In truth, although this deal concerns 20 Ramada Hotels, there is as yet no indication that Dover is one of them.
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

The P&O Ferries choir were great on tonight's edition of The Choir where it's now the knock-out rounds. P&O through to the next round - doing Dover proud!
