For those that want to know, Oxford won.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.

We'll work on it Keith (but then, I'm not a party member either. Like you I enjoy the flexibility that allows.)

Stand for the seat in your own back garden Vic, you WILL win and then you can spend all summer long sitting and standing on it and give us all a bit of piece and quiet.
You know it makes sense.

Not quite true, Howard, I said I had considered it. In 2005 I voted UKIP because I thought the Tories were too woolly over Europe.

In 2010 I voted Tory because Charlie is a friend of mine and we needed him in Westminster to get the Peoples Port off the ground.

Talking about the EU.
This is how Mr Charlie Elphicke Has voted from Jan to March this year on the EU.
On the 11Jan 2011 in parliament he voted AGAINST.
The sovereignty of the UK Parliament in relation to EU Law .
(2)on the 10th of October 2010 he voted for European Economic Governance.
(3)13Oct 2010 He did not vote on= Draft EU Budget 2011-amentment for reduction in Britains contribution.
(4)14.7.10 He voted for European External Action Service.
(5)11.3. 08He Did NOT VOTE ON lisbon Treaty -Third Reading.
(6)05.3.08 He did not vote -clause8(commencement without referendum.
And this goes on right back to the 29.1.08.
Also he has not signed up for the Pledge EU referendum.
I think you can say he is in support of the UK staying in the EU.
I will be puting all the dates and the way he voted on its own page.and you can see by what he has done, that I am right
