He is 100% right in what he said.
I am wondering why Keith S just wants to smear him and cannot make a sensible response to the evil of excessive tax and the damage this crazy transaction tax will do to the UK.
This speech does at least show he is earning his pay, unlike those who cave in to the European insanity and go along with the madness.

The fellow is nothing but a wind-bag, whose sole claim to fame appears to be that he got more votes than John Prescott.
How long could somebody with a rudimentary interest in health & safety talk, and what vitriol could they inject into such talk, about the dangers inherent in the purchase of fresh Pineapples? The stiff, pointy, sharp-edged leaves, the rough and thoroughly unappealing skin, the danger to life and limb inherent in the preparation of the raw fruit, etc. etc.
Would we not all be so much better off with a diet consisting of Bananas alone?
And yet, this chap may have is uses, if even 12% of his listeners were to realise that a vote for UKIP is a vote for the worst sort of Conservative.

Tom
You have made a statement regarding ukip and conservatism
Can you explain what ukip policy's you consider the worst type of conservative?
Is balancing the employment market for British's workers, conservative ??
Is removing tax from workers earning under £13'000 a year conservative?
Is cutting at the top instead of the bottom conservative? Defiantly not
Are there any ukip police's you agree with
Keith s ,politician removed Frome the chamber drunk ,
Not very good but understandable, you would need a drink to be able to listen to some of the crap spouted in the EU parliament.
He's not to drunk in this on Keith

KeithB, is it not reasonable to get an idea of the cut of a chap's jib, by looking at the company he keeps and the quarter from where he obtains support?
"Is balancing the employment market for British's workers, conservative ?? "
What isn't of this statement that pertains to the single issue UKIP is known for:leaving the EU, then yes. Halting immigration for all except those that can pay a fee up-front is as much a firm tenet of the Conservatives.
"Is removing tax from workers earning under £13'000 a year conservative? "
Again, yes. At least what you seem to be saying is what is espoused by BarryW regularly, but on the whole this is a woolly statement. There has been a sustained drive away from taxing income for many years, raising the tax-threshold is a weaker and weaker point, year on year.
As for my being able to agree with any UKIP proposal is concerned. I had thought that this would be much easier to answer if any UKIP supporter could have outlined the difference having UKIP in the present coalition instead of the Lib-Dems would/could have made, but none of UKIP's followers saw fit to show just how much of an impact UKIP could possibly have.
Given the fact that UKIP seems unable to claim that it is a Party in the running to form a Government, what would be the likely result of them winning any seat? I say that all that would happen is the right wing of the Conservative Party would have more (staunch) allies.
In any event, there is a strong possibility that UKIP and the Tories would come to some arrangement prior to the next election. UKIP would then be nothing but a pawn, useful only in harming the vote of other Partys - in the run-up to and the results in - the forthcoming election. Thereafter, IF they won any seats, their successful candidates would simply bolster the numbers on the rabid-right.

Haw is paying over a third in taxation beneficial to workers at the bottom, or the economy ?
Giving jobs and wages to British workers helps the uk economy ,as they will spend there money inside the uk economy , instead of sending it over seas
Tory policy is to help the rich get richer,
The conservatives despise the British working man, ukip do not
Labour and conservative supported bailing out bad banks ,ukip do not.

I feel for you Keith, and I hold out for many of the things you struggle to shoe-horn into the UKIP mould.
I am sure it would help people in your position, as much as it would help me, to try and get to grips with what UKIP is really all about. This is why I ask what would be different if UKIP were in place of the Lib-Dems.
Would the low paid be any better off?

January 2013...
" The Ukip leader said he does not want to be prime minister but warned the other political parties not to underestimate his hunger for influence.
Although the party still has no MPs, Mr Farage suggested he would be open to a pact with the Tories..."

September 2013...
"UK Independence Party (Ukip) leader Nigel Farage today said he was ready to do an electoral deal with the Conservatives in return for a promise "written in blood" of an in/out referendum on British membership of the European Union (EU)...
...He predicted that Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg would be appointed a European Commissioner ahead of the election,
leaving the Tories facing a possible coalition between Labour and the Liberal Democrats under a more left-wing leader like Vince Cable or Tim Farron,
and in need of allies....
..."But all this talk of a deal with the Conservatives hasn't come from me. It has come from members of the Conservative Party saying to David Cameron 'Look, the Lib Dems are going to get rid of Clegg, because you are going to make him the European Commissioner in November 2014 to replace Baroness Ashton, and the Lib Dems under Vince Cable or Tim Farron will look to do a deal with Labour, and if Ukip are on 10% or more in the polls, you must look to do a deal with Ukip'..."

all very machiavellian, i can definitely see nick clegg being a european commissioner and can envisage nigel farage doing a deal with the blues in return for a cabinet position.
