Both my wife and myself will be there ,I do hope that I do not see like I did one year our own MP drinking beer before the service I think that was out of order ,sorry to say this but I found that very upseting that is all I have to say about it, Back to the service Dover does have a good turnout weather will be bright but cold so again lets hope of a good turnout by the public and hope this year we do not see members of the public walking by in the 2mins.My own grandaughter will be taking part this year just like our own son done just a few years before her, what happen he was in the cadets he loved the army and went in,he was doing his training and was called in the CO office and told because what thay had found out he would be at risk serving overseas and that he would have to be med/dischange right away and he was to report to his own GP when he got home, how right they were within afew weeks of coming home he died at the age of just 20years.So we will have lot to think about when the service is on,and I was in the Buffs and the Queens own Buffs, for 6years ,I would like oneday to find out where and what happen to my mates that I was with at the time and never hear now about them. Thank you.

A beautiful service today on a beautiful day. Good to see many old friends there; sorry I didn't get a chance to pop over and say hello, Guzzler. I understand you're on the road to recovery - best not exacerbate the injury by drinking too much beer, I think...........

True friends stab you in the front.

Excellent service at Deal.
The place was packed out.
Great to see the the junior service oganisations, scouts, guides & sea cadets represented in large numbers.
March past with saluting officer Lt.Col.Graham Hoskins was impressive.
It just gets bigger each year & is precisely organised with Malcolm Wells ,Parade Marshall in command.

Indeed it was a lovely day and a good Remembrance Sunday - a very well attended one too. Dover Freemasons out to give their support too, as can be seen from one of Brian's photos.
Great set of photos above, thanks guys.
