I read this as DTC offices being the venue Keith, next time you are there can you ask why the Town Council totally ignored it all despite it being the same day every year?

It's interesting that public holidays on National days seem to be common elsewhere, I live in NZ now and we had Waitangi Day in February which commemorated the signing of a treaty between the Maori and the British Crown. We also get Anzac day tomorrow which is effectively remembrance Sunday but is held on the 25th April, regardless of the day.
The one that makes me chuckle the most is the 5th June this year...The Queen's birthday!! My Kiwi friends and colleagues find it bemusing that we get a public holiday for this and in the UK it isn't observed as one!

Button, my tongue planted very firmly in cheek. One of my main business clients is French and has a tremendous sense of fun.
Have had email from DDC that Town Team responsible for toilets, contactable via Tersons. Whoever is responsible should put up signs with contact details and opening times.

Biggin Hall & toilets now owned by Dover Community organisation [formerly Maison Dieu Rd].
The toilets are funded by by DTC but use DDC cleansing contractor.
Some of the personalities are common to some of the organisations named & Town Team.

I was confused before but not as much as I am now. None of the above answers the question about the community toilet scheme that we all pay for via DTC.

Snap! So the contenders are DCO, DDC, DTC and DTT.
Q. How many men does it take to change a loo roll?
A. No-one knows, it's never happened.
I think I'll carry paper with me just in case I need to powder my nose.

Surely who ever organises the event is responsible for ensuring their are toilet facilities available. Its the same old story one half doesn't speak to the other half.Same old faces but but not responsible .

The loo rolls are changed but immediately stolen or thrown in the urinal troughs because the toilet roll holders have disappeared. But how can you complain when you do not know who to complain to. If the DDC environmental officer give out incorrect info, what chance. This needs a new thread, expanded beyond St George's Day.

Same here I am now totally confused, I think it must boil down to who actually holds the keys.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.
