20:3682338Exactly Ross, everyone needs to be mindful of what's going on in a shop an also having a phone will cause a Policeman to attend in a very short space of time.
On the cost side, a "package" price of membership of DPAC and a business support type of body, would work well for both sides.
I'll see what I can do.

11:2582390Amazing that people would steal from a charity shop, but I suppose it's symptomatic, I have had items stolen from a bootfair I did late summer by just such a 'family' and was only asking maybe 50p an item.
They appear to cruise them all in packs.
Oh Boy!, That'll be the day.........

12:5582401they work on the distraction theory buddy, boot fairs and charity shops do not have security tags. so they are a prime target.

16:2482436Assisted at a Jumble Sale many years ago. Was amazed at the amount of pilfering that went on (mainly by 'little old ladies').

18:0282851In Morrisons today there was a little bit of a do with one oik. after been escorted out by the old bill and the security guard who I later talked to, he explained.................90% of the problems in the store are from our foreign visitors either trying to thieve or buy cheap booze.
He is at his wits end some times
Sorry to say Bern, it's our world.

18:1382854I find your choice of words rather mild Bern.
For the scum of the earth I think each shop or supermarket should be issued with a very LARGE cattle prod.
