Peter, in fact the debate question in Rotherham is all about some children in foster-care and racism, and the point is, it shouldn't become a political theme for an election.

I think the foster parents, the children, Social Services, racism or any other subject that you can think of that are important to somebody can be pertinent at election time.
The ridiculous situation with Rotherham is that the foster parents political leanings were taken into account after the children were placed in their care. If a foster parents political views are so important why is that not a question on the initial application form.

This is a case that appears to have put the social services in a bad light.
Im not fully aware of the judges comments, or if the social services dept were swayed by it?
Certainly in Kent iv seen the same as howard, and happily at that,
Would be interesting to see any further comments by the council, or why they came to this conclusion
