Yes good luck to Roger and love to you and Jean. Hope all goes well for you both and that you are soon back to full health.
Jean, my husband is at home most of the time as he had to take early retirement so if you need transport just call me, he'll be happy to help. My number is 07813359488. Take care xx

Well what can I say ? I feel a bit of a cheat really, I went into William Harvey this morning to have a stent fitted in my left ventricle (I think it was), but my blood wasn't thin enough, so I had to come home and now have to wait until November 4th.
So, thanks everyone for your good wishes, but instead of feeling sorry for myself this evening in William Harvey Hospital, I was enjoying a glass of red wine at Blakes.
Peter told me Sheila had started the thread (thanks Sheila) and after a while, Ian L. came in and said I was a cheat - but a good 'un. You're a good guy too Ian !!
Cheers everyone and thanks again - it's good to know people care.

Roger, sorry to hear the news of your impending operation, it is always bitter sweet when it gets called off, relief that you can go home and frustration that you haven't had the op yet, still it wont be too long now and you will be as good as new again. Shure a glass or two of the red wine is whats needed, keep your spirits up

not to mention the warfarin. Keep cheerful as always, love to Jean xx

Thanks Colette and thanks to everyone else for their good wishes.
I've made best use of being home this weekend with putting bulbs in the garden as well as wallflowers - tomorrow I'll mow the lawn and finish off painting the fence, then I'll be ready for all the horrible winter weather we're supposed to get soon.
Kindest thought to you all.
