I see a lot of wishful thinking from supporters of the discredited Labour regime that has caused such economic mayhem. Wishful thinking is all it will remain as no-one will be foolish go back to those dreadful days of waste, mismanagement and incompetence.

nice try at mud slinging barry, everyone who critices the regime must be a red?
take a look at your own party, many of them are totally fed up with every comment from a minister starting with " what we inherited etc etc".
the deficit is now even wider and the public are not that gullible not to notice.

Oh Howard you are so right , if I hear that line WHAT WE INHERITED one more time i think i'm goner make a run for the hills, sorry BarryW but not one of your front bench are going to have to worry where their next penny is coming from, or even work till their 90 just to keep a head above water.
Not everyone is privileged enough to come from a wealthy family.

What was inherited Jan is the battle that is now being fought and is central to all economic decision, face the facts. People should be reminded time and time again about who got us into the mess.
It is not the moans and groans I refer to, I myself have criticised elements of the budget, it is the absurd wishful thinking that is arising here on the forum as a result that is amusing.
