Oops,my mistake,i apologise.I heard something on the radio yesterday relating to his death and thought it had recently happened. When i read an article about him on the Mail-online there was indeed a column about his passing and i looked at the date at the top of the page showing the 9th december 2014 and took it at that.Just looked back at it and yes it was in 2012.To be honest i thought that he was still alive till recently hence thats why i posted.Sorry! Its a good job i,m not an Undertaker.

RIP 'Plan B'.
Born with catastrophic modelling disabilities at Imperial College, its special brand of fantasy theatre struggled in the face of bare reality and, despite a relentless publicity campaign and the commitment of a full-time cast of committed government ministers, public health officers, behavioural psychologists, medical professionals, broadcasters, journalists, tweeters, other extras, and one of the best costume departments in the history of northern european dramaturgy, the final curtain fell following yesterday's poorly-attended performance.
However, its influence on English theatrics is expected to be visible for some time, especially in the totemic face-cloth adopted by audience members in ritual behaviours, such as shopping.
There will be no funeral.
It is not known for how long the cast will be resting.

Though I hear an amateur production is still touring in the antipodes?

I was in the bed opposite him at WHH about 6 weeks ago. He was clearly unwell but still one of the most modest, self-effacing men you'll ever meet. It was a pleasure to talk to him.

First met Tony about 60 years ago when he was a prolific scorer for Dover Cricket Club. When I met him in the street he always acknowledged me and would stop to have a chat. Totally agree with the previous comments.

A former deputy mayor has died of cancer.
John Goodwin, 66, who passed away last Sunday, had the civic post in Dover in 2005 and was both a Dover district and town councillor over 12 years.

John Goodwin was a dedicated man. I counted him among my friends. It was a pity that he moved away. I last saw him at Ronnie Philpott's funeral a few years ago.
