I see Mr Sansum's victim status is intact, I'm still chuckling at his reference to personal remarks. Perhaps all the letters published in the Mercury during the General Election campaign, in addition to the insults on social media, were from another K.Sansum.

I will attempt to reply to Mr Little although really this is not the correct thread for it,
During the general election I purely gave my view certainly not insulting
In the main I gave my view on Labour and where they were failing
I did attend a lot of the Dover general election hustings and it was interesting to watch from the public gallery and listen to public reaction and of course being as though it was in our hall I did attend UKIP's public meeting where Mr Little spent more time insulting me rather than giving his policies for the District which was fine by me but the result showed didn't help Mr Little.
In the hustings I found when the candidates spoke on what they were to do if elected they got people switched on, once the top table started attacking each other people switched off.
But anyway getting back to the subject which I feel we should be talking about, wear your poppy with pride I say

When people with narrow minds make such comments it's no wonder there are wars.So much for Remberance.

Sue/Howard I do recognise the above subject and will only comment further on the actual subject of the remembrance day.

There was was a chap wearing a high visibility jacket with two large bags outside the Town Council offices earlier. He looked familiar probably planting the crosses.

Just because that idiot is so determined to put across his point he ignores many who like myself who think of all those who died or were injured in wars and conflicts.

A truly wonderful Remembrance Parade today, exceptionally well organised and attended, felt proud to be part of it as a bystander and former soldier.

Excellent service likewise at Deal, Ken. 350 orders of service handed out & they ran out. More people & organisations attend each year. Weather was kind.

I didn't go to the service due to a head cold, bouts of coughing and sneezing during the two minutes silence would have gone down badly. I was in town about 10 am and there were many people already milling around the Town Council offices and there were standard bearers and members of the public outside of Marks and Sparks. Plenty of mini buses parked with youngsters spilling out carrying musical instruments. As Paul says it seems to get bigger every year.

My wife and myself go out to St Margarets-at-Cliff.
My Grand dad has a war grave there and he is also on the roll of Honour in the church and each year they read out the names on that roll of honour, he served in both world wars the first world war as a pilot and he died in the Royal Navy in the Second World War.
