The Ramada Hotel Dover is having an Open Day on Friday to show off their new Olive Tree restaurant, Octagon Bar and Costa Coffee Lounge.
The Dover Forum readers are welcome to join the general public and drop in this Friday afternoon and see the new facilities

A long way to fly for a free coffee Marek - but probably, the Ramada and Dover Marina Hotel don't do things by halves.

All being well will nip up to see the new Ramada revamp on friday Trevor, not sure of the time yet but will aim to get a few pictures for our frontpage. I enjoyed doing the Marina Hotel feature recently which seemed to go down well so will be there.

Happy days seeing all these new developments in and around Dover.

Yes indeed Vic they have done a super job up there. I have some formal pictures which show it all ..will have them on the frontpage later. Havent uploaded anything from the camera as yet but here is one to be going on with from ColetteB's camera..

From left that active Cllr about town of legend Nigel Collor, then Gehan the General Manager Ramada, then the redoubtable Vic Matcham, then Cllr Jan Tranter. All longstanding forumites apart from Gehan.

They have done a superb job at the Ramada - I went there yesterday lunch time with David and was very impressed with the new layout and decoration of the restaurant and bar. Tried the food as well which was fantastic. We will certainly be going again soon. Linda

Next to Nigel is Gehan, the General Manager, not Rojitha.

I was invited to the lunchtime opening and was very impressed - with the new restaurant and of course the high quality food.

Had some very useful conversations with Menon, Seelan and Gehan - they are very much into helping raise Dover's profile, it will afterall, also increase the number of guests and diners there.

I will be very happy to help in that in any way I can.

The gardens are beautiful too - lots of flowers.

Well done to the Ramada.

Picture spread now on frontpage. Its all looking very nice indeed up there at the Ramada. Hopefully the pictures show that. Clearly no expense spared in the revamp. Good luck to the owners once again as they have made a considerable investment in the town.

Yes, I echo all the positive comments above. The decor is Fantabulous and the food is scrumptious The staff and management are all very pleasant and courteous so all in all The Ramada gets my top vote

Yes can only say that it was a pleasure to have a look round the newly rvamed Ramada, would certianly recommend that people go along and sample the food and take in the surroundings

If we want to attract quality people to Dover, we must have a quality product and the Ramada and The Dover Marina now provide that quality product.

Working on Dover Town must now be a priority - but who pays ?
