I don't suppose it's easy for the Town Council to be able to get Town Councillors out during business hours as some of them are working; the officers there have full time jobs too of course.
The "Manager" I keep on about, could be doing this as part of his/her job; working closer with the Town Council, rather than for the Town Council was what I tried suggesting back in 2009/10. In fact the previous Town Clerk and I had discussed this very initiative and I was going to talk to "appropriate" businesses about it.
All part of the job spec. - or should have been.
