Just a quick update, Spring cleaning is in progress ready for the opening on March 23rd. Lots of work going on, new toilet block in place, looking very nice down there now. Just need the visitors!

This is what we are up against.
EKR are joining with local groups to really make a difference in our communities.
Jason and his team at Aylesham Skills Factory, have done a tremendous job with getting all sorts of people back to work and many others with training, that will change their lives for the good but here we are again struggling from getting the funding that it and our communities so deserve.

Councillor Steve Manion works with the Coal-Fields Regeneration Fund and has secured much good and useful funding - have you contacted him; would you like me to ?

Roger.
I have worked with Steve over the past couple of years but he seams to have gone to ground for the moment. I will have to chase him up and see if he can help with this one.
Cheers

Spring Kids event runs for one last day today. Fantastic weekend so far! Market Stalls, miniature steam train rides, cafe and woodland walks, BBQ, kids fun activities, minibeasts, log pulling, railway golf, seed planting, history and military exhibition, plus heritage train rides! So much going on!

Josh.
Sorry did not get chance for a chat yesterday, the place was really buzzing, so many kids with happy faces, makes it all worth while.
Was that you on top of the St Dunstan?

This might interest some of you. We spent yesterday painting St Dunstan to get it into a suitable condition for display. From left to right are Matthew Plews, Tom Whitlock, and myself Josh Watkins. So yes Gary, that was me on the roof mate
