Keith, I think that the government will be in for quite some questioning before long, that will make the local case of Bob look so insignificant!
I have a vague idea that the Libya situation is turning sour on Iron-Cast Dave, and that it's just a matter of time before we can see some bitter talk in the press and in Parliament.
By that time, all that Bob ever said that tragic night on facebook will have been long forgotten, forgiven, pardoned...indeed, some will wish they had the problems Bob has!
I mean, if Bob had to fall from power for what he did, think of what Dave is in for. Keith, I don't think Dave will be in power for much longer, I think the man has lost a war, and will have to go.
That should give Bob and the local Tories some respite.

Let's hope the knife soon goes the same way as the spoons.

baz;
thats the worry of many that the local tories hope this will all get forgotten
but they do themselves no justice, and are leaving themselves open for others.
they would be better to come to an early decision as i posted when this all first started.

It is a very sad reflection on some people that they have to make such a fuss about someone saying something silly. Some people need to get a life.

oh dear
i think the tories have just made a big mistake if this is correct.
it looks like the local tories are looking more at the bye election and fear of losing the seat, rather than taking positive action.
looks like they have just given political opponents an easy way to bring the local tories down.
but what is worse is cllr elliott must be concerned over this decision.
well looks like the local tories will get a rough ride up to the next local elections and will probably lose seats through it

Stirring again Keith. As I said before, a load of nonsense, the whole issue.

Agreed Bern the whole thing should now be ignored, maybe not forgotten but definitely left alone.
