Talking to one a few days back he explained difficult it is at times just doing the job.
He said some locals make it difficult attempting to stop an Individual being moved by him.

If only there was some place on the south east coast capable of housing 3000 guests rather than housing them in hotels or expensive floating accommodation?

Yeah. I think you'll find, however, that such a place has to be better than Shorncliffe.

The old saying ' Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned'

it is not as if she improved the illegal immigrant issue while in charge.

Agree Jan
The Govt has so many splits now the PM will find it hard to hold his party together .
Amusing as he came on saying he would unite the party

Dear me. They've made Rwanda the be all and end all. Prediction, after taking 200 million, they'll (Rwanda) pull out, citing that they are not prepared to put their reputation on the line etc etc.

The government has refused to comment on reports the Manston airport site and a second location in Dover are to become permanent facilities for processing asylum seekers.
The plans came to light after the publication of papers relating to a procurement process inviting interested groups to apply to run the centres.

I suppose if I had a phone worth £20,000 (wow!) I'd be annoyed if it were taken off me but, far outweighing that, would be my absolute joy that I was no longer being persecuted (as, presumably, I was in France). I mean, get your priorities right.
