No it is Keith who has made this an issue about the local candidate and spoiling ones paper in the local constituency

Just to get back to the original thread, I'm so pleased that john has now been given the figures by the local party and able to re produce them on the forum on the number of women already heavily involved locally which rather deflates his parties argument.
That said being opposed to (as i'v had this very conversation with john) and making a stand are two very different things.
A few posters(and clair herself)are saying that under a system that did not include W.O.S. clair would have stood and supporters of clair have said she was an outstanding candidate and would have won anyway, well that we will never know, and it's a great shame this part was never tested.

Maybe the new labour candidate can get herself up Folkestone road and experience first hand, the labour parties open border polices she will be implementing.
PS.
Milaband, announced this week, no need for the British public to have a say on

Clair was at the meeting at the town hall last night about the port. She asked a couple of questions to which she would have known the answers if she had done a little research.

And I'm sure we all wish Clair well no matter how we feel about the 'Women Only' shortlist. I for one, am very relieved that she is a local girl

To be honest Keith,I and many others aren't that bothered that you will spoil your ballot, you have that right. You will see Clair become not only a good candidate but our MP I am sure
