06:2369632Hello Keef..Howard is absolutely right, there isnt one criteria that applies to all. We love people who post everyday and keep it all topical. We also love people who post when they can and thats great too. But what we dont like is someone who posts once every six months or twice every eight months. Its not much good. It contributes nothing. A member with that sort of track record would need to be aware that the axe is coming.
We dont want to delete anyone.

We would like everyone to post and take part.
I did list the excluded once before following deletions, but not quite sure if its a fair thing to do but lets wait and see.

06:4269639I havent the time Keef to do everything Im afraid, there just isnt the time. I used to do as you suggest but the emails get unanswered so I cant afford the time.. as I speak I have a ton of emails I havent answered or acknowledged but just to say all are welcome. I see them but getting round to answering everything isnt possible.
But if someone isnt coming on and contributing.. well... it isnt rocket science.

13:5669737The trouble with such warnings is that you then get a deluge of pointless postings, another thousand from Vic saying here I am and very few new threads to encourage posts. Of course another "problem" is the tendency of any thread to turn into a political debate, and thus become off-putting. It is far from neccessary for debates on beer or wildlife to take an ideological stance, with fringe party views thowing in, and yet it does happen.
How about a thread on what people would like to see for their liesure time, without discussing government policy on the budget?
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.

08:1470217Ten people have now been excluded. Ten who were not really taking part at all. If anyone wants to appeal the decision just drop me a line... we're receptive, as its not our ambition to exclude anyone but at the same time we are only interested in active participants. Its a must.
There are now spaces available in our Member List. We are down to 86 but an active 86. So if anyone new wants to join up just drop me a short email. Only obviously for those who want to take part.

I post if I have something to say but can't see the point of a lot of the one liners that seem to happen a lot. I try to see it from a non members view - if it's boring they won't come back.
There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".
