Flights to Jersey are now quite reasonable - about £80 or so, they used to be very expensive at £150 and upwards. I believe there are flights from Manston in the summer months.
Keep fighting Marek and get well.

Reply dictated by Marek. Apology for any spelling mistake Marites x
Dear Forum Friends,
Very many thanks for your very kind wishes to my family and myself. Your prayer and thoughts are greatly appreciated.
I went to see my GP with a painful swollen leg and within the hour I found myself in Jersey Hospital suffering from internal bleeding and liver failure. "Locally I followed my mum's advice I was wearing clean undies , you never know when you get knocked down by a bus".
I have had 4 pints of AB negative blood pump into me in an attempt to stabilize my condition, together with countless drugs. The hospital is now desperate and ringing around for more AB negative. They have to pump AB positive in me at the moment I wish the news were better but as someone who has always adopted a policy of being forthright now is not the time for a change.
Although in pain I am still "compesmentis". My fete now lies with the medical team, my inner strength and God's will. Novena,s masses and prayers are being said for me for which I am truly grateful -so there it is,
Thank you all again for your kind prayers and wishes. May your God go with you.
All my love
Marek
