Sadly our long time long term member Marek, ace contributor with a glint of humour at all times, has gone into hospital in Jersey. He has been much quieter lately because his health isnt good but sadly for the moment anyway things are not too bright.
Ive had the following email from his wife Marites this morning...

Good morning Paul
I just want to let you know that Marek is in the hospital at the moment thats why he is not been posting in the forum. I know he misses it - posting, reading and getting into argument/discussion. He will be back soon , I hope and Pray.
I hope you don't mind me contacting you.

I have sent Marites an email by return wishing him the very best for a speedy recovery. We hope to have him back with us soon. He's a good lad.

I am very sorry to hear that bad news,I hope he is up and out again very soon,and you are right we do miss him.

Marek is a gem on here,lets hope he is back on his feet and on here soon,he makes me laugh yet he can even reduce Barry to a quivering wreck!
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

How strange, reading through the new posts this morning I realised we had not heard from Marek for a while and was going to start a new thread enquiring about him.
Marek, please get well soon I really miss your contributions, well maybe not the political ones.

Very best wishes for a quick recovery for Marek. Like Jan, I knew something was not right about recent threads, lets hope he is back posting ASAP.

This is bad news, I have certainly missed his input recently, but on the other hand if he is concerned about all here he must be on the mend.

So sorry to hear that Marek is in hospital, I too was wondering where he had got to.
Marites, please give him my love, I will pray for him at St Pauls on Sunday. Hopefully it won't be too long until he is back on the forum again posting his 'larger than life' posts that we have all come to love. Tell him we miss him, love also to you and Natascha xxx
My very very best wishes go to Marek and to his family, and I am looking forward to hearing from him again. Prayers are being said. x

Marek, get well soon; hope it isn't too serious, but I know they don't put you in hospital just for a rest.
