As the big date approaches spare a thought for the dear old residents of Clacton in
Essex. Their Tories aren't the brightest blues or sharpest knives in the drawer. Campaigning in the local elections, the Cons declared: "Tendring Needs Change". Quite so. Except the same Tories advocating change have run the council for two years. Doh!
So perhaps we should count our blessings in Dover..it's only Vic that has no idea what policies he is standing for, which party ,if any he represents, and what he'll do when he becomes a supreme leader and numero uno.

Vic has quoted on one thread a whole ream of UKIP policies but alas he is undone there, as he isnt standing for UKIP !!!...which Keefy has tried to point out to him. But he is a character is Vic. Gives us all plenty to talk about. Although it might be fair to say that one or two members have felt saturated lately...

Yes, Vic. Get well soon, who knows, you may have no time to yourself for the next four years or so. Rest yourself for the coming fray and come bolder and stronger to the field.
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

I'm sure most people have already decided who they will vote for, or not vote for, in May. The dice are rolling.

Four leaflets came through the door in Priory, from the Conservative candidates. Plus a booklet explaining how AV would work.
The latter explains that Parliament must first approve a change to the constituency boundaries before any change in election methods could be introduced, and that this could take between 1 and 3 years.
So if the populace votes "yes" in May, and there were a General Election in June, the av would not be applied.
I am expecting to hear the chorus from Keith: ...the cobbled together government...

Why would Conservatives bother leafleting you Keith?
If they had spare time from dealing with their target areas perhaps, but!!!!

Target areas in that ward Keith!!
As I wrote why would they leaflet or canvass you with your stated views.
Pretty pointless.

not with you there paul, leafletters do not have an electoral register with them, they are asked to do a road and stick a leaflet in every door of that road.
unless someone has a "no junk mail" sticker or a poster of a rival party in their window they just penetrate the letter box.

Howard give us credit, hopefully regular leaflet droppers know where SOME PEOPLE LIVE.
The Labour Party rarely put a leaflet thru. my door.
