Keith B if you really believe in what he is saying, then I think carry on reading in the book of fairytales....
I have only come across ONE politician who sacrified everything and even his career. Now no one ever talks of him, because Government of all the countries twisting History their way...

Heike - do you mean that you believe he is lying when he says it is the EU he doesn't like or trust, not Europe, as a Continent of great countries ?

He seems to make sense in what he says about not hating Europe or Europeans but wanting the Uk to make its own laws.
I don't know why you would call it a fairytale Heike, unless you can see an agenda there thats gone by me without me noticing.
One great politician from the past, probably the greatest in my opinion would be Aneurin Bevan, a model of how an honest politician should be, and one of the greatest Britons (and Welshmen) who has ever lived, a man of incomparable moral standards, and true to his political leanings throughout his career.

all over northern and western europe people want their countries back, this will manifest itself next may when the european parliament will be dragged to a halt after the elections.
to deny europeans the right to self determination will result in further gains for the far(nasty) right.

Cllr Watkins post#17,Macmillan was in power over 50 years ago and M. Thatcher sold them off at rock bottom prices,30 years ago...Please suggest and tell us all the latest updates on building social housing in the last 20 years by both governments....I think you will have a problem detailing that...
