  Well, this shitty little rag can print this...

  ...and it can use quote after quote, but cannot find one to back up this claim.

  Some cite Crosby as the likely source of the initiatives. In a 2001 federal election in Australia, he was said to be responsible for the false claim by some ministers that a boat of asylum seekers had thrown their own children overboard.

  Nowhere is there any mention of a drive towards increased immigration. It seems to me to be an argument against the Politics of Hate.

  As can be plainly seen from the Express link in #1, the operative word is 'MORE', and nowhere else, but in the Expresses own words, does Abbott or anybody say they are in favour of or/and pushing for 'more' of anything other than backbone on the part of their leader.
  
  It is what Abbot perceives as the fell hand of Lynton Crosby in the coalition's patronising and pathetic recent push to "send them home" that she rails against.
  
  Which of us can deny the positive role played by immigrants;both to Dover and to the UK in general?

  To move off from this single issue is to nod off to a dreamland that (perhaps) voting for a right-winger will mean that a wall will be build around our shores. Then we Jocks can FO back to where we came from and the Paddy the same. Then maybe the Welsh, then the Tikes, the Geordies...

  My problem with immigration is one of lowering of the wages of the poor
  du to over supply of the labour market

  And, I don't think Right and Left has anything to do with Democracy. The Politics we 'enjoy' in the UK is a side show, something to do while Democracy takes place elsewhere.
  
  And, I am certain that UKIP aids and abets the anti-democratic political faction even more than it assists this non-democratic mainstream.
  Yes, the reality of the detrimental effects of our long-established open-door immigration policy has found traction, the voice of reason -that has been crying out louder and louder still- is now being heard.
  [It's a bit like trying to get a point across to a friend in a Disco, when all of a sudden the music stops, and all the whole room hears is a snippet of what was being screamed into the ear of the person sat in a nearby seat.]
  
  So, the voice of sanity is at last heard, but is it being listened to?
  
  I say that the voice of sanity is not being listened to, it is being exploited. Utilised by those who now have a use for it, not because it makes the same sense now as it always did, simply as a distraction.
  
  The presence of UKIP on the political stage is not 'a plague on both your houses', it is an undeniable boon to the worst sections of either so-called 'wing'.
  
  Leaving the EU is precisely the wrong thing to do, especially with regard to immigration.
  
  If ever the British public are again at the mercy of an 'unregulated' and omnipotent Westminster Parliament the likely phrase that the British worker will hear is...
  
  "As soon as you British work for twopence, all those who refuse to work for a penny can go back to where they came from."
