Harry, The only one who speaks with the greatest sense, when are these dogooders going to stop telling people what is wright for them, if I was ill and no hope of getting better I would not want to be a burden to my family and hope they would help me Go and also i would be helping the Country by not using all the resources that would be available .and Jeane well said.

not a cut and dried issue, peoples beliefs come into it and also at what stage of an illness is the sick person in the right state of mind to make a reponsible decision?

a bit of topic but the same,you wouldnt let your pet dog suffer would you.if your pet animal was suffering you would put it out of it's misery wouldnt you,so whats the differance between your pet and aloved one [human that is].
I guess the fact that one of those acts would be called murder is pertinent.

It could also be called a mercy killing but sadly not likely.
The way the law stands at the moment I would have to commit suicide possibly a long time before I need to.

well you can leagly put down a cat or a dog if they are really ill,so why not a human being for the same reason.
