If you fancy popping over for the weekend Marek would be great to see you again (and of course your family). I do recall the fantastic food you brought along to a number of our parties! Linda

Sorry to tell you Bern, Black Pudding is a French dish 'Boudin Noir', very nice with fried diced apple dusted with black pepper. The French were very upset a few years back when a Yorkshire Lad won their coveted Gold Medal for the Best Dish

OK regarding food - we will supply sausages, rolls, cheese, bread and few other bits - if anyone wants to bring a salad etc that would be good. Contact me to let me know what you can bring so we don't get lots of lettuce! Thanks. What is the weather like -anyone know? Linda

I will be bringing along some real Oirish beefcake in the shape of my big brother Joe who is on his way from the Emerald Isle with his lovely wife Liz. He has heard about Big Dave's barbecue which is world renowned, news travels far and wide

I hope you all had a good time

I think you live just down the road from me Jan, and I too can hear the bands and music from my study balcony. I hope you all had a good time too - what a beautiful day!

Well what a fantastic weekend for Dover - the weather was perfect for the Regatta and the Carnival, I'm sure the numbers that attended must have been up on previous years. There was standing room only in the garden of 41 Castle Street, thanks to everyone that came along to our annual bar-b-q. We really enjoyed the afternoon/evening and it is always good to meet new faces from the Forum. Thanks to Charlie Elphicke for coming along as I know he has a very busy schedule. Same place next year! Linda
