It's a shame that Don Hunter, the driving force behind the statue and these services was taken ill at the Town Hall.
I hope he's ok, he was last seen in an ambulance attached to an ecg machine.

Yes I was there and according to what I heard he was having a heart attack,I can not confirm this but came from a good source.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

shocked to hear that about mr hunter, he seemed in the best of health when speaking today.

Yes Rev Ridley did mention about Mr Hunter during his service on the seafront. Sad news and I think he was ill previously on this occasion too. Perhaps he tries to do too much at once. Hope to hear good news on this soon.
Have some pictures and will get them up on the frontpage soon. Just about to go though them... a very nice seafront ceremony and well done to our own Terry Nunn too for a lovely voice over.
