Patrick must have posted that photo immediately after taking it as I was in Market Square about 11. 20 and there were two together on the left and one on the far right, I thought it looked odd.

Nice to see that DDC gardeners have not overlooked Deal.
This week in the flowerbeds in front of the pier they have planted a 'rock'.
Rumour has it that Deal Town Council are hoping to do particularly well in the 'Surrealist' category in Britain in Bloom.

With the change of control of Deal Council recently I was hoping to complain to one of my councilors but apparently most of them are away on a one day course on 'How to use Cutlery' in preparation for any civic occasions.

I think the Market Square looks good, far better than previous years and the tourists appear to like it. There were a lot in the square this morning getting their photo taken in front of the crown, some even moved round so that they got the person with the crown and the castle in the background.
Top marks

I noticed those yesterday, also noticed not one of them is square to the woodwork, should do the trick though
The Crown looks good just a shame they didn't pay attention to the detail with the woodwork surround and a less intrusive way of supporting the whole thing.

Oh dear! How embarrassing!.
Someone at the DTC should go back to school or use a simpler word like....PUT.

Lovely fragrance from the Lavender Sue - the boat at the junction of New Street and York Street has been planted too.
