With high income/high skill people moving into Dover they will start demanding better schools/health care/food/shops and other services. Everyone wins.
Captain it should not take the demands of the rich to get better schools, healthcar/food/shops and other services- if this is the case then there is a divide in the rich and poor coming in on living standards. Only someone Rich can afford a home of 1/4 million houses are heading there also that should not be costing that.
The prices of the homes is because the price can be asked for and some fool is going to pay it, which they have been- hence 'we can ask more' . Stop buying houses and the house price drops its the fools who pay the high price on housing that making the house price go up to stupid amounts. People in 70/80's are making as much as 230,000 on a house they bought for a mere 20,000. That is disgusting someone getting rich in terms of overnight. Yes its Ok for them but they do not know the damage they are doing helping the houseing market go ape sxxt.
We have set a trend that will destroy our children future, it was based on greed and want, I will pay that amount. Many older children still live with parents because they cannot afford to live on their own. I find what happening in this country a terrible thing. Also Houses are now being built so many to acre making those houses like mice holes I would say Rabbit pens but in terms of humans - MICE space comes to the front.
If some would pay you 1,000 for a tyre you bought for £10.00 you would do it and then others would follow this is what happened to the market in housing - plus a lot of our homes are being bought up from overseas as is most of this country or bloody greedy landlords limiting the housing also putting the prices up 'demand'. Council stop building and selling their homes - you got a whole mess, high prices and kids futures in high debt or no home at all of their own.
Anyone from 70's would know people got married in teens and owned their own homes - look at the shift now. Teens are at school or in colledge working their butts off to even think about getting a job, getting married and buying a home. Many of those who finish working in education some into their 20's come out and what do they find a dole line or some job that have to take on a low wage. Yes I know the trend has changed by are old age standard but look at it it was overnight change all of it.
If only everyone could be kind and honest what a better world we would be in.
