i was given an appointment back in october to see a consultant on 24/12 at the qeqm, they then cancelled and sent me one for late february also at the qeqm.
i rang them to say that if i had to wait that long i might as well wait for one at the more convenient k & c, the reply came back that the wait would be even longer.
this morning i got a call to offer me an appointment for next tuesday at the k & c, may be worth others pushing themselves.

I, too, was given an appointment in October to see a Consultant, on 20th December. It turns out that I need surgery on a damaged shoulder and I will have to wait until July!

When we arrived in Farnham in August we started the process to get my wife's haematology care transferred temporarily to Frimley Park from K&C. After much toing and froing we have the first consultant's appointment on Jan 10th. We leave Farnham less than a week later to return to East Kent.

All East Kent Hospital clinics are bursting at the seams.
Appointments are postponed and put back........the very reason we need a `proper`Hospital in Dover District .....eventually
on the scale of the K&C..................

Yes we do Reg but it will never happen

all we will ever get is a glorified or should that be bigger Health Centre, even if the Health Authority choose to call it a hospital.

We could restrict the NHS to British citizens, only treating others that have the relevant medical insurance,
Another ukip policy that should free up NHS services

Yes I can make a better offer Brian
We could divert the £50 million a day UK conurbation to the EU,
And support the elderly and sick in this country
And the £12 billon UK aid budget could be directed to the British poor and needy
But you being a labour supporter you obviously couldn't agree with is!

Geting back to hospital appointments rather than what party someone belongs to/supports
Its also surprizing the number of people who dont turn up for appointments and dont let the hospital know

I had an appointment at KCH for a diabetic retinopathy check after my eye-test at the Paula Carr mobile unit in Pencester Rd.
I was there quite a while before the appointment, but the Consultant wasn't there, even after an hour, he still hadn't arrived and I had to leave before I saw him (whether he did arrive that day or not I don't know) to pick Jean up from Buckland.
I have a new appointment, but it isn't until May and my late November appointment was one that was changed from last July !

i think my consultant was there as a couple of people had gone in and come out 5 mins later, there was just me sat there for a further hour before i gave up.
imagine any other business treating their customers like that.
