  Prince of Wales pier is closed today.A sign saying that its closed because of storm damage and will be closed until further notice.I cannot find out how bad the damage actually is.

  The anglers have now started to fish on the beach as they have neither pier to use at the moment.This is despite warnings from DHB police.

  i did hear that earlier andy,shakespeare beach is normal for anglers but i don't remember seeing anyone doing it on the promenade beach.

  Spoke today to a relative of mine who works on the Admiralty pier and he can confirm that it definatley has not reopened yet and may be a few weeks until it does.

  The river level along Barton Path seems to risen and is running faster in the last few days, even though we haven't had much rain.
  Must be the rainwater making it's way through the hills.
  
  Saw the pictures of the Thames on the news this morning where areas are now beginning to flood.
