Well here we go again, another fantastic weekend of entertainment and frivolities.
Pencester Gardens open to all and absolutely free and the acts off the top of my head are to many to mention.
After the Mayor opens the event the first performance will be the band of The Princess of Wales Royal Regiment Band (10-30).
Please come along and have a great day out, I will be running the Help for Heroes Stall, Stop by and buy something before it all disappears.
With a bit of luck I will beat last years takings of £440.
Have a great weekend guys.

Last year my sister dragged me along.
If you see someone being frog-marched to Pencester Gardens over the weekend, then it is likely to be me.

Don't take that too seriously, Howard, about being marched in, I'll come rolling through at some point'. Last year I purchased two pipes and drums CDs at a music stall in Pencester Gardens.

Well we are all set. Posters and flags to put up and more exhibitors to arrive and get ready but we are nearly there.
The stage is set ready, just some tweaks...
Fingers crossed the weather forecasts are right and this rain clears up...
Hopefully see you there...

Well done indeed.
Not a good start to the day earlier on, although it has stopped and will clear up.
Just sent round a reminder about it to all those on my email address groups.

It is a great weekend and very well organised. I hope the weather is good and you all have a weekend of fun and support.

Had a walk ropund this morning the weather was a bit "so so " but is brightening up now . Ive entered both raffles , rather hoping to win the IPAD but good luck to the person who does . The singers and the band where very good , for me the volume was rather loud on the PA . a really nice trip out . Thanks to all who put it together

a murky start to the weekend did not put off the public who were their in great numbers by late morning.
marching display here.
barry was running round like mad making sure everything was running smoothly.
managed to catch him talking to nigel here.
two reprobates with army backgrounds, cannot think of their names for the moment.

a couple of the entertainers this afternoon, the first one sang bud flanagan songs.
this lady had an interesting repertoire of songs including a couple of judy garland and edith piaf numbers.
the chap standing up on the left seems familiar, can anyone name him?

a couple of crowd shots taken at about 3 p.m. to give an indication of numbers attending.
i thought it was busier than previous years, barry was clearly delighted at the turnout.
there were some fairground amusements to keep the very young happy, though from what i saw tooting the horn of an armoured car seemed more popular.

Thanks everyone...
A few more pics that captured the event.
The PWRR band and some of our cadets - we had over 30 Marine cadets and about 20 ATC Cadets and a real credit they all are to their units - we can all be proud of these excellent examples of our youth, they all worked so hard and were incredibly mature.

Great to have met you properly at last Ross, our paths have crossed but have never spoken properly before today.
