Paul and Barry, from what I've been reading and seeing on tv recently,
sunflower = not so good as it has to be processed a lot,
olive oil = good for cooking,
virgin olive oil = very good for eating as in salad dressings etc, don't cook with it as it breaks down into nasties too easily,
fish oil (mackerel, herring) = best of the lot put does tend to taint a full english
I've been recovering from a cold for ages now and last week my body told me it wanted, indeed needed, a fry up of bacon, egg, fried bread, mushroom and tomatoes done in lard - and I had to agree with it.
