10:1692956Article in todays Dover Express. St James area .I have seen these plans but cannot discuss commercial confidentiality .You will gleam from the article the plans have changed and it now looks a very good scheme.
For all you who continue to moan work is in progress and as Paul Watkins states quietly behind the scenes .
There were also some comments in the paper re Dover and how run down it looks .
I will just say its time some of the residents not all i might add look to themselves .
Its disgusting to hear the F word constantly used by all age groups loud disagreements in the street and the litter being thrown in the streets .
No pride .Keep the F.word if you must use it in the confines of your home and take the litter to the nearest bin .
You dont have to be rich to have good manners and respect .

10:4892959two different issues susan, the anti social behaviour you rightly describe has nothing to do with the appearance of the town.
actually i think the appearance has improved in recent times, shops such as greggs, peacocks, brighthouse and others make the town look a bit more cheery.

14:2192980I don't give up either. Neither would anyone else who sank their life savings into a business in Dover.

15:1592986I agree with Sue and Peter.
Those that are always moaning about Dover seem to shout loud but do nothing to improve what they are complaining about.

19:2193042Easy Keith, those who are always complaining about the town in a non constructive way. I do not think it would be fair to name them on the forum.

20:3893059Yes, it could be anyone but I know who they are, family, friends, shop customers and even forumites at times. Surely you would not expect me to name them, or wouldyou!

23:2793079It does sound like great news Sue. Beginning to get that surge of excitement that something worthwhile has been going on in the background (quietly and diligently) and that it just might finally be the right idea.
