Excellent front page photo shows the explosives placed on the joints of the sections...straight splits.......do not know when they were built but in my day the average thickness of walls was only four inches......never built for long term

Well done scotchie great pictures there on the frontpage, not sure how true it is but was told today that the demolition team were women, a memorable landscape has gone forever.
