19:4189596I was in there Tuesday afternoon for the Tuesday Club and I asked the barman what the commotion had been the previous night. He had been working on that night and he saw nothing.
Howard, I was in the Nelson many years ago when it got raided at 2 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon. I was having a quiet pint in the posh (saloon) bar when it got raided and we were all treated like criminals by the police. I don't think that they would get away with it nowadays. Long story, will tell you about it the next time I see you.

As he has the French connection I would guess he got the gun came from France, I believe they are easy to buy over there.
