On Wednesday the BBC are filming at Dover Castle where Dan Snow will be learning how to fire weapons from through the ages and it will be broadcast LIVE at 7:30 on the BBC
I have been offered a number of tickets that I am trying to fill so need to know names, e-mails and numbers by the end of MONDAY so I can let them know.
Attendees should arrive between 5:45 and 6:15pm; there will be warm up events on Palace Green with knights and a crest melee, with the live broadcast at 7:30pm.
If you would like tickets, it is a named guest list only, so drop me an e-mail to:

That must be for the new history show that is on for a few weeks hosted by Breakfast's Sian Williams and historian broadcaster Dan Snow. I was looking forward to it and even more so with the local interest.

Good stuff - I guess a lot of preparation is needed for a Live prime time TV programme !!
I have managed to get them 79 people for the guestlist so that isn't bad for 24 hours work

Been nice knowing you :)

the fact that it is live means extra preperation i would think, let's hope it all goes smoothly.
